    Comments about American Standard Skyline Champion 4 Round Front Toilet:

    I have an older home, which had an old toilet. Since it was only a one bathroom home, I decided to invest in something top of the line. I wanted it all, looks to compliment the style of my home & functionality. This toilet was it for the first 15 months. Then I would hear it flush randomly or start filling up by itself. Then I got a $150 water bill one month and I knew something was dreadfully wrong. I contacted customer service and they sent me a new seal ring. The one they sent worked worse than the original and I was forced to using both as well as turning off the water to the toilet when it wasn't needing to be used. As you could imagine, with a small one bathroom home, this is quite the inconveinence. Finally, they sent me a whole new flush value system--which I was lucky enough to have my father come and install for me. That worked like a charm......for about 15 months now. About a week ago I noticed that sound of the tank filling up randomly again and have already started cutting off the water to the toilet as to avoid a water bill that I cannot afford. Note: I live alone & have 2 jobs, so it's not like I have 20 people using this toilet everyday---honestly, I'm barely home enough to use it. So I just emailed customer service again to see what can be done. Really the whole thing makes me sad b/c I had a perfectly good American Standard toilet in my house and thought I was making a good investment in my home and the enviroment by purchasing a new one. It really is a good looking toilet. I just wish it worked.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

      What toilet seat works with this handle?
      The toilet seat I have will not go far enough back to stay up.
      The handle interfers.
      Is there a slow or soft close toilet seat that works?

        The handle should not interfere with the seat staying up. Please check your tank and see if it is leaning forward. If you it is not installed properly. You can call us at 1-800-442-1902, prompts 1 and1 for assistance on how to properly install the tank.

      We'd like to replace a powder room's toilet with this model, but would like to keep the American Std pedestal sink (circa 1987). The current sink and toilet appear to be "bone" in color ... how close a match would be the American Std's 2010 "bone" color to their 1987 version of bone?

        Yes, by ordering 3110.016 Round Front Bowl Only, but it must be used with some style of Champion 4 tank.
