        Higher- easier to get on & off for the older folks
        Flushes EVERYTHING the first time--in less water than the old toilet!!
        BUT...Only 6 months or so later we notice a crack has developed on the rim of the bowl. :(

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

                A:

                The sanitary bar is a raised area on the bowl just beneath the tank. This acts as a barrier to prevent waste from getting trapped between the tank and the bowl.
