      It is a white plastic or fiberglass. It cleans real easy. Sturdy as I put my foot up there to dry it.

      This seat is made of Duroplast, which is a fiber-reinforced plastic that is hard, scratch resistant that feels and looks like vitreous china.

    How do I remove the toilet seat? It is sliding back and sometimes to one side and no longer sits properly on the bowl. It is less than one year old so I am not sure what is happening

      The seat can be removed by lifting to the full upright position and depressing the silver button in the center of the base of the seat. Once removed, the covers for the seat mounting screws can be removed. Once removed, re-tighten the screws securely to prevent shifting of the seat.

      The seat can be removed by lifting to the full upright position and depressing the silver button in the center of the base of the seat. Once removed, the covers for the seat mounting screws can be removed. Once removed, re-tighten the screws securely to prevent shifting of the seat.

      This toilet’s bulk removal rating is between 800 – 1000 grams. 1000 grams is considered the highest scoring possible. A higher rating means better material removal and better clog resistance.

      However, I am not sure why you are asking--a very high-end slow close push button easy lift-off seat comes supplied with the toilet bowl.

    What is the width of the base at the back of this toilet? My water line is currently located around 4-5 inches from center, so I need to make sure it will not interfere with the back of the base. I understand the notation in the desription states it will accomodate a water line that's either 8 inches or 2.25 from center. My line is somewhere in between, so I'm concerned the line may fall right on the back edge of the base. Please advise
