          Are these lids replaceable . If not do the mounting stems corrode. if so, can they be removed easily and replaced.I also wanted to know if your going to come out with a wood grain design . this is for a tropic right height elongated thanks Tim

          I bought this toilet from Lowes last summer. It has worked well until tonight. It now will not empty the bowl and it does not respond to a plunger. Is it safe to use drain cleaners or a snake? I'm concerned a plumber may be unfamiliar with this design. What do you suggest?

            A:

            The bowl itself does have a normal trapway...you just can't see it. It can be snaked just like any other toilet. If it was functioning correctly and now doesn't it does sound like either an obstruction in the trapway, or an obstruction in the waste plumbing or vent stack.
