    Is the white granite cultered marble more of a greyish color?
    I'm wondering what color runs through the sink top (brown or grey) ? Where can I get a sample of this color? I've looked everywhere to no avail.

    my wife and i purchased the silkstone rectangle bowl vanity top,
    model #cmw4922, recently along with a 22" RH sidesplash.Because of the cabinet frame next to it,I need to cut appoximately 11/2" off the length.What do you recommend to cut it with and also the refinish the edge.I have a small remodeling business,so I have a wet saw or grinder with diamond blades.I just have not cut silkstone before.Thanks in advance for any help

      A:

      For day-to-day cleaning, wash with warm water, a soft cloth and a mild detergent such as Crane Tub and Shower Cleaner, Mr. Clean or Lestoil. On extremely stubborn stains use one of the powdered detergents, such as Spic & Span on a damp sponge or scouring pad of nylon, saran or polyethylene. Never use abrasive scouring powders, cleaners or pads as they tend to create microgrooves that dull the finish and allow dirt to work into the surface.

      We do not have a standard 27" vanity top. If you are interested you can order a custom top in the size you need. You would need to go into your local Home Depot and they can assist you.

      The 37 X 19 and 31 X 19 would have a bowl size of 16 3/8 X 11 1/2. The 37 X 22 would have a bowl size of 16 3/4 by 12 7/8.

  • Q:

    I purchased a 37x19 sand granite silkstone sink from Lowe's, in August it was installed. The installer noticed that the side splashes that were sent did not match at all. In fact the vanity did not match the sample I ordered from..it was not a problem for me. Now I am working with the store representative to obtain the proper side splashes for my vanity top. Does AS offer other finishes/colors to other suppliers. I would like to be able to complete my bathroom renovation sometime soon. Thanks for your help.

      The incorrect sidesplashes may been ordered. If the top was a custom order, custom sidesplashes must be ordered. If it was a standard top, standard sidesplashes should be ordered. Asking the store to reorder the correct type of sidesplash should resolve your issue. Please note that due to the manufacturing process, it is not likely to get an "exact" match however they should be reasonably close.
