      Hello,

      This whirlpool was not designed for a deck-mounted tub filler or faucet to mount directly on the tub. This just means the design doesn't include a large, flat area for installing the tub filler. If you have a relatively compact tub filler, and it will fit on the available deck space, then you can certainly install it there.

      Since this is an integral-apron tub which typically installs in a 3-sided alcove, it's more common to install a wall-mounted tub filler or bath/shower combination valve, and there are many nice designs available.
