Can acesss to the pump be set up on either side of the tub? Or, can you order the tub as left or right access?

Q:
I no longer have bubbles coming out of the jets when the jets are running and you turn the knobs to let air in. There is still pressure but no bubbles.

I recently purchased the Colony Corner Tub 1730 Series,without a whirlpool option. This is a soaking tub only. As I understand from plumbers, some install these tubs with a cement base, others use professional grade foam for the base. Are both techniques acceptable for the installation of this tub. Is there a preferred method, and does the method of installation effect the warranty. Thank you, Mike
