      • Q:

The bottom floor is supporting the support areas on the tub and the edge of the tub sits flush on the tile. Can the bottom be supported with expanding spray foam or should the morter be used to support to keep fiberglass from colapsing at the back of the tub where the fiberglass curves by the pump. If so how much?
Asked on 3/2/2012 by Anonymous from Los Angeles, CA

        • CUSTOMER CARE

          A:

As long as the lip of the tub is supported all the way around and the two runners under the bottom floor of the tub are resting fully on the floor no additional support is required.

      • Q:

I need to mount this where it will require a left hand drain and access will be at the left end and the front. Will this work?
Asked on 1/15/2012 by Anonymous from Fernandina Beach FL

        • CUSTOMER CARE

          A:

No, the motor is mounted at the short end of the tub opposite the drain. This is the only spot the motor will fit under the decking. Access of a minimum of 12” tall by 24” wide is required at the short end of the tub opposite the drain. We also strongly recommend access at the drain end. Thank you.

      • Q:

This will be an alcove installation with a right hand drain. The only access will be the long edge (60")side. Is this suitable for maintenance on the motor/pump?

        • CUSTOMER CARE

          A:

No I'm sorry but we can not get to all the parts or disconnect the motor from the long side. Unless it is possible to put an access panel from both long sides so we could walk from access to access and get at everything. Thank you.

      • Q:

Can a heater be installed on this model?
Asked on 5/11/2011 by Seth from Portland, ME

        1 answer

        • CUSTOMER CARE

          A:

Yes, this model comes with a "heater blank" and the actual heater can be purchased separately and installed per the installation manual. As a reminder, the heater needs it's own GFCI outlet and should not be run on the same circuit as the whirlpool pump.

        • CUSTOMER CARE

          A:

Yes, you can install this wp as a left hand drain with front motor access by purchasing the optional apron panel for front of tub.
