New Wall-Hung Commercial Toilets from American Standard Clean Two Times Better With 50 Percent Less Noise

Sep 28, 2018

ATLANTA, American Society of Plumbing Engineers Convention & Expo (September 28, 2018) ― Engineered to deliver superior performance compared to conventional pressure-assist toilets, the popular VorMax flushing platform from American Standard, part of LIXIL Americas, is available in a commercial model for the first time with the new Glenwall VorMax back outlet, wall-hung configuration.

The award-winning VorMax technology has been independently verified to clean the bowl two times better than conventional toilets*, and completely removes and flushes paper seat covers to offer an improved user experience.  Eliminating the traditional tiny rim holes around the bowl that carry water during a flush, the VorMax flush delivers one powerful jet of water that scrubs the entire bowl completely clean with half the noise of a pressure-assist toilet.

To further simplify cleaning and maintenance, the Glenwall VorMax has a CleanCurve Rim that eliminates hidden, hard-to-reach surfaces inside the bowl where dirt and buildup can get trapped. The Glenwall VorMax toilet also features brand-exclusive EverClean, the innovative permanent finish that helps toilets stay cleaner longer.

The Glenwall VorMax high-efficiency toilet (HET) meets all applicable drain line carry requirements and achieves the highest bulk removal score on the Maximum Performance (MaP) test, successfully flushing 1,000 grams (2.2 pounds) of waste with only 1.28 gallons of water per flush (gpf). It has earned WaterSense certification for providing high performance while using 20 percent less water than traditional 1.6 gpf toilets.

This new toilet is ADA compliant when installed so that the top of the seat is 17 to 19 inches from the finished floor with the trip lever on the accessible side.
