New Loft Suite of Bath Fixtures Deliver Clean, Contemporary Design

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (January 21, 2015) ― With clean lines and striking, angular shapes, the new Loft collection of bath fixtures from American Standard is designed to suit today’s contemporary-styled baths.

This new suite, characterized by appealing, leading-edge styling, consists of a one-piece toilet and two rectangular above-counter lavatories.

Space Saving, High Efficiency Toilet

The Loft one-piece high efficiency toilet (HET) features a space-conserving compact design with an elongated bowl that fits into the area of a round front toilet. For added comfort, the toilet has a taller, ADA-compliant 16 ½-inch Right Height bowl. The decorative slow-close seat includes a telescoping seat cover designed to conceal the seat ring when closed for a modern, seamless look. The trip lever is discreetly positioned on the left side of the tank.

Beneath its clean good looks, the Loft toilet delivers a high performance flush with a 3-inch flush valve and 2 1/8-inch trapway. This latest HET achieves the highest bulk removal score on the Maximum Performance (MaP) test, an independent report of toilet performance. It can successfully flush 1,000 grams (2.2 pounds) of waste while using only 1.28 gallons per flush (gpf). This powerful, yet water-saving, flush has earned the Loft toilet WaterSense-certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for providing high performance while using 20 percent less water than traditional 1.6 gpf toilets.

For effortless cleaning, the Loft toilet features EverClean, the unique permanent finish from American Standard that inhibits the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew on the surface, helping the toilet stay cleaner, longer. This toilet has a 12-inch rough-in and is protected by a five-year warranty.

Above Counter Lavatories

This new Loft bathroom collection includes two design-coordinated rectangular lavatory sinks crafted from fine fire clay:

• one model includes a single hole faucet ledge and rear overflow hole, designed to house a one-handle bathroom faucet.

• the other model has no ledge or holes and can accommodate a vessel faucet.

Both bathroom sinks are ADA-compliant for barrier-free installation.
