Coburn’s Supply Baton Rouge Airline Highway Showroom
Jan 8, 2021
At 11,000 square feet, Coburn’s new Baton Rouge Airline showroom located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana is a giant filled with top-of-the-line Kitchen and Bath products. This showroom makes its mark as the largest showroom in its area and is one of 29 Coburn’s showrooms located throughout Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee and Mississippi. American Standard spoke to Carol Dye, a seasoned showroom manager at Coburn’s, to observe the level of impact the enormous new space and renovation has had on their business.
“Our Customers always told us we have such great staff and service, all we need to do is update our showroom”, said Carol Dye. With this information in hand, the staff at Coburn’s concluded that an improved showroom would add much more to the consumer experience and began to pursue a new location to call “home”. In 2011 the Louisiana showroom moved into its spacious new location on Airline Drive. The Coburn’s teams’ enthusiasm was renewed as the new and improved showrooms grand opening drew over 175 customers to share in the excitement.
So how does one conquer designing an 11,000 square foot showroom? With the assistance of a knowledgeable and creative showroom staff, as no one knows the correlation between the market and products better. The layout at Airline Drive is a culmination of the design sensibilities of a few employees who have years of design experience, both professional and life-learned. The showroom was tailored to the taste of its customers; “In Baton Rouge, customers tend to have a traditional style”, says Dye. To satisfy this group, displays such as the American Standard Town Square suite are available. Those trending more towards a modern style can draw inspiration from the American Standard Studio Suite on display. Other features at the Baton Rouge location include working displays like the American Standard FloWise showerhead, which gives customers the chance to feel the different spray patterns offered. By tailoring showroom displays to local interior design preferences, Coburn’s strikes a chord with its main audience – their loyal customers.
Since the upgrade, the Baton Rouge showroom has seen a significant increase in customers. To keep up with this demand, Coburn’s has employed staff to cater to specific areas of the showroom, improving the employees’ level of specialized expertise and consequently, the rate of consumer satisfaction. Combine a colossal showroom with up-to-date products and great customer service, and the best of these worlds collide.
