ClassyI had this installed by a contractor with the base. The rest of the shower is ceramic wall tile from Florida Tile. I have been using it for 1 month. The door slides smoothly and feels solid. It only opens on one side, so you pick either left or right side entry. I swipe the squeegee side-to-side to clean off the doors so they dry clean. The only complaint is that when I am done showering, there is water outside the door area. It probably comes at the end of my shower when I hose down the door. The door+base combo cannot handle the water volume. We're talking a tablespoon, so it is more of an annoyance.

Leaky Stationary PanelOur opening door is on the right. Stationary panel on the left -near the wall leaks. The door frame is caulked all around. If water hits the panel from showering or if you try to rinse shampoo off the panel, water will drip down and pool inside the frame/door post.
